REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ) ANNUAL FRAMEWORK RFQ FOR GOODS AND SERVICES KALOBEYEI INITIATIVE FOR BETTER LIFE (KI4BLI)
About the role
Kalobeyei Initiative for Better Life (KI4BLI) is a refugee-led, community-based organization working in Kalobeyei Settlement, Turkana West, and surrounding host communities to build livelihoods and economic opportunity for refugees and host community members through skills training and programmes designed and run by the community itself. To support its ongoing programmes, KI4BLI regularly procures a range of goods and services from local and national suppliers. KI4BLI is now inviting competent, compliant suppliers and service providers to submit quotations for the categories (Lots) set out in Section 3 below, to form part of its Approved Supplier List (ASL) for the coming year.
2.Purpose of the Request for Quotations
The purpose of this Request for Quotations (RFQ) is to obtain competitive, priced quotations from suppliers and service providers who meet KI4BLI's eligibility and compliance requirements, and to build an Approved Supplier List with agreed indicative prices from which KI4BLI will source goods and services throughout the year through direct calls, local purchase orders, or further mini-competitive quotations, as needs arise. Submitting a quotation does not guarantee any minimum volume of business; it establishes eligibility to be considered and an agreed price basis for future orders.

Validity and Use of the Approved Supplier List
• The Approved Supplier List will be valid for 12 months from the date of approval and reviewed/refreshed annually.
• Inclusion on the list does not guarantee any volume or value of business; KI4BLI will engage listed suppliers as programme needs arise, through direct calls, local purchase orders, or further mini-competitive quotations.
• Quoted unit prices will form the basis for local purchase orders placed during the framework validity period, subject to reconfirmation for large or unusual orders.
• Supplier performance will be monitored on an ongoing basis; consistently non-performing or non-compliant suppliers may be suspended or removed from the list.
• Suppliers admitted to the list will be required to sign a supplier agreement/framework contract with KI4BLI prior to receiving any orders.
